King cake & Mardi Gras stir-fry

Baked my first king cake today -- not bad, and basically a cinch if you've ever made challah (similar but not identical, of course). Instead of the usual condensed-milk icing, I made an even easier one: a cup of sugar and a couple tablespoons of lemon & orange juice, plus zest. Only I accidentally used a blood orange, so it's flavorful but pink.

Proper insertion of child

Very important. Or, as J said, "Hey, Phil & Ted know the Ikea people!" (From the instructions for a portable pack-n-play we're borrowing for our trip this week.)
